Electronics and Inverters

As a system developer for mechatronic drives, the design of electronics and their control units are an elemental part of LSP’s core area of competence. In order to meet our high demands on functionality, dynamics, reliability and suitability for installation space, we do all of our electronics development, production and testing in-house. The spectrum ranges from miniature circuit boards for sensor applications to high-voltage electronics in the kilowatt range. The success of our brake unit for motorsports proves the quality and safety we deliver – even under the harshest of conditions.

What we offer you:

LSP develops and supplies the entire electronics platform for the control and regulation of actuators and valve systems, all customized to meet your special requirements. Our range of services extends from conceptual design to the creation of circuit diagrams, and from component design to the layout of the circuit board. The basic and functional software required for operation is also developed in-house, which serves to round off our portfolio all the way to the finished product.

The quality and reliability of the final output stage are what make all the difference – as does the design and choice of appropriate components. Depending on the power, voltage and switching frequency range, we rely on a variety of power semiconductors, from classic silicon and silicon carbide MOSFETs to IBGTs. We also offer the right solution for your specific application with an extensive portfolio of cooling concepts. For increased functional safety requirements (ISO 26262), we rely on a redundancy and protection concept that we developed in our own laboratories.
