Successful project completion of IBSe9 with modular pressure actuator

Successful funding project completion for the LSP engineers and a new IBSe braking system with modular pressure actuator for specific and precise adaptation to the individual needs of our customers.

The development of this fail-safe and redundant pressure controller was part of the project “Development of a modular pressure actuator for vehicle dynamics applications for autonomous driving and electric vehicles based on additive manufacturing”, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy as part of the Central Innovation Program for SMEs (ZIM).

In cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Casting, Composite and Processing Technology IGCV (Fraunhofer IGCV) and Kreisel Electric, LSP has developed an adaptable braking system for driving dynamics applications for autonomous driving and electric vehicles based on additive manufacturing, thus creating a long overdue solution for modular and flexible use.

We are proud of the optimal and technically flawless results of the cooperation and the resulting brake system IBSe, which is not only already used by the team of Sunswift Racing, but is also in demand as a modular solution in other worldwide racing series.

We would like to thank our cooperation partners and our customers for the trust they have placed in us and are looking forward with confidence to the further completion of our second funding project in the new year. Last but not least, we would like to express our thanks to the funding agencies for their objective and critical - but always benevolent - support of our projects.
