Project Manager Brake Systems Development Focus on Autonomous Driving and Vehicle Motion Control (m/f/d)

Do you want to help shape the brake and chassis control systems of the future? You can work with an innovative, pioneering company in the development of Brake-by-Wire systems and high-performance motors. At a place where fail-operational brake systems (SAE Level 2-4) are designed and created. At LSP a significant responsibility is placed on series development with a focus on E/E, functional and basic software, and subcomponent delivery. Your main task will be to lead a young, highly efficient team for the modular system architecture of the future, to build upon and develop competencies and to present the technical interface to the customer.

We are now offering a position in the field of:

Project Manager Brake Systems Development Focus on Autonomous Driving and Vehicle Motion Control (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Project responsibility for function development and sensors & diagnostics of electrohydraulic braking systems
  • Management of software and algorithm development (core rule functions ABS, ASR and ESC)
  • Evaluating and determining the system layout
  • Leadership role in technical specifications and regarding fail-operational system analysis
  • First point of contact internally and externally regarding development results and system requirements

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies, ideally with a software and control technology background
  • In-depth system knowledge of electrohydraulic braking systems, in particular ABS control and calibration
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of brake control systems
  • In-depth experience in the application of industry standards (e.g., FMEA)
  • Knowledge of automotive software development processes (AUTOSAR, ISO26262 advantageous)
  • Knowledge of the requirements of autonomous driving SAE Level 2-5
  • Team player with hands on mentality, who excels with a great deal of creative freedom
  • You are multilingual (German/English) and feel at home in various different cultures
