We are a team of passionate, highly qualified, and creative engineers. We cover the entire development spectrum from concept and design to prototyping and testing. Our employees develop mechanical and electronic solutions as well as control algorithms and software according to automotive standards. System validation is carried out both on test benches and in vehicles. Head of Development (m/f/d) – Focus on Mechanics / Mechatronics

Your responsibilities

  • Technical and disciplinary leadership of the growing team (mechanical development, prototype procurement, and prototype assembly) and management of operational processes
  • Leading the team with a focus on deadlines, costs, culture, commitment, efficiency, and quality
  • Development of ideas, innovations, and overarching strategies in collaboration with the adjacent EE and SW processes
  • Evaluation of different solution approaches with regard to technological advantages and disadvantages as well as economic viability
  • Coordination of projects and resources
  • Responsibility for continuously developing, supporting, and challenging the team
  • Support for product management

Your profile

  • Degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a comparable field
  • Initial leadership experience with a hands-on mentality
  • Several years of professional experience, ideally in an automotive engineering environment
  • Broad knowledge in the development of electrohydraulic / electromechanical systems, ideally in the field of chassis control systems
  • Independent working style with a willingness to take on responsibility
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile
